As Merchant Warehouse, the company has been assisting businesses since 1998, and has always had a major focus on staying ahead of emerging technology. Their customer service platform is a cloud-based product called Cayan Genius, which allows businesses to adopt the newest methods of payment faster, to keep up with their clients. Through Cayan’s services, organizations can process payments, use gift cards, and implement loyalty reward programs that help them keep customers coming back.

Cayan serves almost every business type. Retail establishments, e-Commerce businesses, even international businesses can take advantage of Cayan’s services. They provide card processing, mobile payment processing, and virtual terminal capability.


Cayan’s services are on par with many other industry leaders in credit card processing, but their prices are a big selling point. For medium-sized businesses that need the ability to accept payments through the most modern technology, Cayan could be a great option. While their pricing information varies, the fact that they have one of the lowest starting points in the industry suggest that their upper tiers would be equally affordable. While their BBB rating may give the savvy business owner reason to pause, most of the issues reported involve disputes that could have been avoided by a careful reading of the fine print in a contract. Be absolutely sure that you know what fees you’ll be charged before you begin, and you’ll probably find that Cayan’s positives outweighs its negatives.
