Enterprise Reviews

Enterprise is a car rental company that caters to local renters, for example someone who was in a car accident and needs a rental until they get their car replaced. That being said, Enterprise has many locations at airports throughout the nation. Besides standard rental vehicles, Enterprise also boasts moving vans and trucks as part of their fleet.
REVIEW
Enterprise offers a range of vehicles that seat up to 15 people, including cars, trucks, vans, and moving trucks. Each type of vehicle comes in a range of class options that allows the consumer to pick a style and price point that fits their needs. Lower class vehicles are more practical, and include small sedans, but renters can also choose hybrid and electric options, and exotic cars, and a host of options in-between. At Enterprise’s Las Vegas location, renters also have the option to rent Harley Davidson motorcycles. Parents and the directionally challenged can add car seats or GPS units to their rental for additional fees.
Enterprise expanded options include CarShare and RideShare programs. CarShare lets drivers pick up cars at any time, which are parked in various locations throughout cities. These cars can be rented hourly, or for longer time periods. RideShare is a host program that allows commuters traveling to and from the same vicinity to connect and form carpools using Enterprise vehicles.
In an industry known for subpar customer service, it’s impressive that J.D. Power and Associates has and Business Week have recognized Enterprise for their excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
While the accolades listed above are nice, and the complaints about Enterprise by consumers are not to the degree of seriousness as some competitors, there are plenty of customers who run into trouble with their Enterprise rentals. One of the most reported problems is the quality of vehicle. Consumers reported breakdowns from vehicles that don’t seem well taken care of, including cars that required oil changes or were just plain dirty.
Other renters reported egregious customer service experiences, like being given the runaround for hours when there was a problem, misinformation given by employees that caused hardships and inconveniences to the consumers, and straight up lack of respect. These cases vary by location, and some Enterprise customers reported vastly different experiences at various pickup and drop-off locations. For example, they were treated poorly at one location so they drove to another, where the customer service was excellent.

CONCLUSION
Enterprise is a well-known brand that has created numerous programs that set them apart from their competitors. Their CarShare and RideShare programs not only help consumers, but help the environment by keeping less cars on the road. The variety of programs, along with their range of fleet options, make Enterprise a good choice when it comes to rentals. To avoid a customer service blowout, consumers may be wise to report any issues directly to their local branch, rather than calling the national number.

Worst part was waiting over an hour for Enterprise to come pick me up at the body shop, then another half hour waiting for the car that was reserved for me to be brought to the Enterprise location.
